Rotimi Best 81294a47f9 feat: live class sessions, CE workflow, and docs (#683)
Adds live-class session scheduling on lessons (join link, date/time,
timezone) with automatic 24h and 1h reminder emails plus a calendar
invite (.ics), a time-change notification with an updated invite, a
teacher-authored welcome email and session invite on enrollment, and a
"Notify students" quiz nudge.

LMS gets an upcoming live-sessions card and Join buttons, plus a
reusable live-session card component (3 states) in @cio/ui with a
Storybook story. The sidebar content tree now reflects sequential
progression locking like the content list, and the course-completion
confetti regression is fixed.

Org-based emails no longer reference ClassroomIO by name. Docs add
live-class, welcome-email, and course-progression guides, expand the
certificates guide (design, signatures, corrected labels), move
plan-required callouts to the top, flatten how-to-guides to the docs
root with redirects, and add screenshots. Includes an add-docs-image
skill.

title: Create a Course Landing Page
description: Build and edit a course landing page, including pricing, hero buttons, preview, and publish settings.

import { Callout } from 'fumadocs-ui/components/callout';
import { Step, Steps } from 'fumadocs-ui/components/steps';
A **course landing page** is the public page for one course. Prospects read the description, see pricing, and click **Enroll** if enrollment is open. This is separate from your [academy landing page](/docs/org-landing-page), which is the academy homepage.
## Open the editor
<Steps>
<Step>
### Select a course
From the admin dashboard, open **Courses** and click the course you want.
</Step>
<Step>
### Open Landing page
In the course sidebar, click **Landing page** to open the editor.
</Step>
<Step>
### Edit sections
Update sections such as hero, description, requirements, pricing, instructors, and footer. Click **Save** when finished.
</Step>
<Step>
### Preview
Use the preview control next to **Save** to see the page. Confirm behavior on the live academy for links and enroll buttons.
</Step>
</Steps>
## Editor sections
| Section | What you configure |
| --- | --- |
| **Hero** | Title, subtitle, primary CTA (e.g. Enroll, Get Started) |
| **Description** | Course overview for prospects |
| **Requirements** | Prerequisites or audience notes |
| **Pricing** | Price and currency |
| **Instructors** | Instructor cards |
| **Footer** | Supporting links and copy |
Hero and pricing interact with [course enrollment](/docs/course-enrollment): a free course with **Allow New Students** on shows an open **Enroll** button; paid or closed courses route visitors through payment or invites.
## Pricing and currency
Set the course price in the **Pricing** section. ClassroomIO supports these currencies today:
| Currency | Code |
| --- | --- |
| US Dollar | USD |
| Nigerian Naira | NGN |
<Callout type="info" title="Other currencies">
If you need a currency outside USD and NGN, that requires product support today. Pick the closest supported currency or keep the course free and handle payment outside ClassroomIO.
</Callout>
## Publish and Allow New Students
Landing page content can be ready before you open enrollment:
| Course **Settings** | Effect on landing page |
| --- | --- |
| **Published** | Page is live on your academy |
| **Allow New Students** | Public **Enroll** works (for free courses) |
| **Price > 0** | Enrollment requires payment or a valid invite |
See [How Course Enrollment Works](/docs/course-enrollment) for closed cohorts and invite-only access.
## Preview vs live site
The in-app preview shows layout and copy. Test **Enroll**, external links, and payment on your live academy URL (subdomain or [custom domain](/docs/custom-domain)) before sharing publicly.
<Callout type="warn" title="Org landing page preview">
The org homepage preview in **Settings → Landing Page** disables link clicks. Course landing previews should still be checked on the live site for enrollment flows.
</Callout>
## What students see after enrolling
After a successful enroll, students land in the [Student Dashboard](/docs/student-dashboard) (**Home** / **My Learning**). The course may disappear from **Explore** once they are a member.
